UCHS Foundation
The United Church Homes and Services Foundation was established to solicit, safeguard and disburse funds in support of the charitable work and ministry of United Church Homes and Services with special emphasis on financial assistance for residents and staff. The Foundation currently supports residents at Abernethy Laurels who have outlived their assets or who qualify for other benevolence assistance. The Foundation has also funded resident programs, building renovation and improvement to other campus space that helps enrich the lives of Abernethy Laurels residents.

UCHS Foundation

The UCHS Foundation was created in 2000 to support the ministry of United Church Homes and Services and develop opportunities for giving at all UCHS communities . Our Foundation's primary role is to help tell the story of  United Church Homes and Services, further its mission and help underwrite programs that will enhance the lives of residents including benevolence.

The UCHS Gift and Thrift Shop in downtown Newton is a wonderful volunteer outreach program that supports the UCHS Foundation.  The resale shop accepts donations of all household items except clothing and offers them at very reasonable prices to the community.  All proceeds benefit resident programs.
