What is Going on?

June 28, 2016

A golf cart parade, luau, and cookout are just a few of the campus festivities that our residents enjoyed in the last month. Check out our fun on Facebook. Don’t miss out on our summer programs:

Dr. Brian Magi, Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science at UNC- Charlotte, will present on climate change and global warming Thursday, July 7 at 2pm. As part of the Geography and Earth Sciences Department at UNC, Dr. Magi explores the relationship between fires, climate, and air quality.

Come out on Friday, July 8 at 5:30pm for an Americana cookout. At Abernethy Laurels, we take great pride in our country and the freedoms associated with it. Join us and Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet for an American evening with good food and fellowship Southern-style!

Abernethy Laurels wants to put everything out on the table – just for you! Join us on Thursday, July 21 for lunch and meet our residents. We believe our residents know best about our retirement lifestyle. Let them tell you about our community offerings of choice, affordability and maintenance-free living.

On Sunday, July 30 at 2pm we invite you to a delightful afternoon concert with The Cockman Family– a bluegrass gospel group that offer a unique style and harmony, original songs and arrangements of the old gospel songs that are very popular with their audiences.
