Abernethy Laurels to Welcome Twain Impressionist

August 27, 2019

Abernethy Laurels is excited to welcome Bob Foxworth, an interpreter that brings Mark Twain into the 21st Century word for word. The performance will take place Wednesday, August 28 at 2pm on the campus of the retirement community. The public is invited.

Foxworth, retired from a 40-year sales and marketing career, now performs Twain professionally. Foxworth appears in the spirit of humorist Mark Twain, presenting family entertainment suitable for any audience. A former America’s Got Talent contestant, Foxworth has opened for Grammy Award-winning Bombshell Duo “Letters from Home” and performed at Greensboro Historical Museum, the Winston-Salem Air Show and Wake Forest University.

According to Foxworth’s website, he “brings the ‘Man for All Times’ into the 21st Century word for word, interwoven with Bob’s ‘Twainisisms’ that are funny, soul-satisfying entertainment.”
