Letter from Administrator - Staying Connected

April 6, 2020

Dear Abernethy Laurels Resident Representatives,

The health, safety, and well-being of our residents and staff is of utmost importance as our nation endures an ever-changing COVID-19 outbreak.  At this time, we do not have any positive COVID-19 cases at Abernethy Laurels. As protocols and procedures change, we are using a variety of avenues to get information out to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.  We are using the following:

Website: Please visit www.abernethylaurels.org and click on the “News & Events” tab at the top of the page.  All updates are posted under “News.”

Social Media: Please follow our Facebook page www.facebook.com/abernethylaurels to find links to updates regarding our COVID-19 efforts. We are also using Facebook as a way to show you and others that residents are staying connected and engaged. Health tips regarding COVID-19 are also posted here. Updates can be found on Twitter at https://twitter.com/abernethylaurel (no “s”).

Email: When we have updates to pass along, we send mass emails out to family contacts. The email should come from “Abernethy Laurels.”  If you have additional questions regarding the contents of the email, please reach out to your loved ones social worker or other Abernethy Laurels contact.  If you are not receiving emails from Abernethy Laurels and would like to, please request to be added.  You may do so by contacting:

Megan Smith, Social Worker- 828-465-8544 or [email protected]
