Since 1971, Abernethy Laurels has been known as a destination of choice for retirement living nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. The first and largest United Church Homes and Services community, Abernethy Laurels combines elegant independent housing with full-service accommodations on a fee-for-service basis all on one campus. Because we are a continuing care retirement community, residents may choose three housing options: The Village offers spacious floor plan options in patio homes and apartments in a community campus setting. The Pavilion includes apartments with meal plans and housekeeping services. And finally, Abernethy Laurels offers Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services.
The convenience of Charlotte, Boone/Blowing Rock, Hickory, and Asheville makes Abernethy Laurels an appealing destination for a retirement lifestyle focused on health, wellness, culture, education and fun.
